Air Fare:
1) You arrange your own airfare. Depart from the USA on 1 July fly overnight. Return on 9 July. Please call or email me before you book your airfare for accommodations confirmations. Your return flight should not depart Dublin airport prior to 2:00 PM if you wish to use our transportation to the airport.

Kerry Tours, Itreland

2) Due to requests to utilize credit cards (I’m such a small business for arranging the tours while in Ireland, I don’t accept credit cards) You pay for the hotels directly in Ireland, meaning you may use your credit card vs. paying me to pay them. We will be staying in 2 hotels.

Standard Double Room Rate: €246.50 for Hotel #1 Eliza Lodge; € 640.00 for Hotel #2 Glasson Golf and Country Club
OR
Standard Single Room Rate: € 153.00 for Hotel #1 Eliza Lodge; € 495.00 for Hotel #2 Glasson Golf and Country Club

3) You would pay me by personal check or cashier’s check for the ground transportation, boat ride on Lough Rea, and dinner the last night as a group. That amount per person is: $750.00 (just as a side note, a gallon of gas in Europe is close to $10.00)

4) If you are taking the class for Audit, it is $450.00; if for 3 Grad. Credits, it is $600.00. (This amount is due June 1, and payable to Tools for Learning-Cardinal Stritch University.)

With the July 1-9 Tour, if you are not interested in either Audit or Credit, you may just join the tour for fun. Friends and Family are welcome. Contact me for details regarding children and acceptable ages.

Venues: Each day promises an experience like no other, ranging from the stone walls of famine years, to the stately GPO still standing after the Easter Rising, and the Irish Civil War, to the intimate Abbey Theatre, or natural beauty of The Cliffs of Moher …not to mention the excitement of golf and pub life!

Meals: Breakfast is included each morning. This is NOT your typical continental pastry and coffee…I have never heard anyone complain of not having enough to eat….and the food is very good.

All lunches are on your own. Our stop at mid-day will provide you with many options for food selection at affordable rates.

Dinner will be back in the city/hamlet of our hotel location, and I can offer many suggestions for the nights where dinner is not included in the itinerary.

Just as there are varied choices, so are the prices. It is safe to say, a bowl of chowder or a salad can run from E 5-10; whereas a full meal, depending on location and restaurant can vary from E 10-45
Really, it’s all about what you’d like and how much you’d like to spend.

Incidentals: Every year a new travel experience presents itself with the “aha” moment…I should have thought of that one! Be it safe to say, most people know what to bring.

In the line of packing: an umbrella, if your jacket doesn’t have a hood; a rain jacket; 2 pairs of good walking shoes; one outfit for theatre…very casual, but not usually denim; several changes of shirts and 2 pairs of pants or capri pants; (you won’t see a lot of shorts in Ireland); and any medications/hearing aid batteries, personal health care items that you will need for the week. Please know, you’ll be traveling via motor coach…if you’re inclined to have motion sickness bring your Bromine along…it’s less drowsy formula seems to be better than the Dramamine which can really conk a person out!
Please pay attention to airport security information for up to date changes.
Golf gear if you intend to use your own; rentals are available if booked well in advance, as well as buggies!

Kerry Tours, ItrelandIn the line of currency: 300-350 Euro
PLEASE have at least 100 Euro with you when you arrive! You will need transport into the city centre of Dublin which is a 35-40 Euro ride depending on the time of day.
YES, you most certainly can use ATM’s and not bring that entire amount!!!
ATM’s are in most large cities.

As we tour the various sites, there will be entrance fees. This is why you’ll need to have the Euros handy. Most sites charge between 5-15 Euro. Depending on the size of our group, we may qualify for a reduced fee at a group rate. This amount will be collected prior to each site in Euro.

You will require additional Euro for your meals, and any taxi services you may require. From experience, the pubs don’t take credit cards. Many fine meals are served in pubs, so don’t hesitate to check out the carvery. Dublin is quite nice as a walking city; but if you’re tired at day’s end, a cab is a great sight…and they’re everywhere!

That about covers it…email me for further information that may pertain to you, personally.
